Walls

The base for the exterior walls is a steel frame made of C- and U-profiles connected together with self-tapping screws. Frame racks are usually positioned in 600-1,000 mm intervals, which allows for ease of insulation attaching and fastening of finishing materials. The frame panels can be assembled either at the construction site or at the factory.

Any materials can be used for the exterior finish due to the wall structure. The choice of finishes depends on the architectural solution only.
On the inside of the building, the frame is sheathed with 2 layers of 12.5-mm-thick gypsum boards, which corresponds to the limit of fire resistance REI 45 (45 minutes) and provides for the grade III fire resistance of the building. In order to increase fire resistance of the building, finishing materials that belong to the NG flammability group (non-combustible) should be used. Gypsum boards belong to the G1 flammability group, and glass magnesite sheets belong to the NG flammability group.

For the purposes of insulation of the frame, mineral or basalt slabs, ecowool, foam concrete, and other similar materials are used. The thickness of the insulation is determined as per the results of the thermotechnical calculation, which takes into account local climatic conditions, the temperature conditions of the building, the glazing area, and the planning features.
